Dr. Sarah Holtzen

 Dr. Sarah Holtzen, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Management at Missouri Southern State University where she teaches courses on human resource management at the undergraduate and graduate level. Her research interests include writing case studies and other experiential activities - including those that can help teach students generative AI skills. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas’ Sam M. Walton College of Business. 

Lauri Lyerla

Lauri Lyerla is the CEO of the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce. Lauri is a familiar face to most people in Neosho. She was born and raised a Wildcat. Working at a very young age in her family's furniture store, Mills Park Centre, taught her the value of small business and community. Today, Lauri uses those same principles to enhance our member's businesses and help them to think outside the box. She has lead the Chamber since 2014 and is a 2018 graduate from the Institute of Organizational Management. Lauri works to foster relationships between our organization and all of the area entities partnering together to make our town function to its full potential, including City Council, Newton County, Neosho Schools, Crowder College, Grow Neosho, and many more.
